From time to time, you may see me reference Canada on this website.
Critics will say that is because I am afraid to reference similar stories in the United States.
To those critics I have one thing to say: You are absolutely correct.
Over the last few years, there have been stories of women in Canada falsely claiming to have Native American ancestry, or in the language of our neighers to the north, "First Nations".
With a large enough sample size, there may be men too, but the stories that I have come across were all of women.
Instead of simply inventing a fictious backstory, I decided to investigate my own genealogy.
